I’m Xueze Song, an Assistant Professor in Operations Management in the Department of Information Systems, Statistics, and Management Science (ISM) of the Culverhouse College of Business, The University of Alabama. My research is dedicated to healthcare operations with two primary focuses: (1) how to improve resource allocation and system coordination and (2) how to design state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to advance decision-making. I received my Ph.D. degree in Operations Management at the Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and my bachelor’s degree in Management Science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China.
